Howard Cattle Company is a Southwestern Colorado ranching family and Family Band. We offer music in the traditional bluegrass and old time style, western and gospel, too. Howard Cattle Company is family owned and operated by the Howard family in Bayfield, Co. Jay Howard is a 4th generation rancher, adding up to 135 years of ranching in the Howard Family. He is now passing this legacy on to his family.

Howard Cattle Company is a Southwestern Colorado ranching family and Family Band. We offer music in the traditional bluegrass and old time style, western and gospel, too. We consist of seven family members and a loyal hound. We invite you to step on in and see just what we have to offer.

In addition to our family Blue Grass band and beautiful western and Hebraic arts and crafts, we offer some of the best tasting natural grass fed beef. Howard Cattle Company also hosts the "Fire on the Mountain Benefit Festival" for Country Kids with Cancer.

Natural Beef

Howard Cattle Company uses no steroids, implants or drugs on their cattle that they sell for beef. Our environment is stress free, with cattle born and raised on the pastures of the Howard Ranch.

In Winter, they are fed on the natural grasses grown and harvested on the Howard Ranch, using no pesticides. Our mama cows are part of the family, well taken care of. We're not the biggest, but our lean Charolaios natural beef might just be the best.
